Renfe Spanish Large Families Fare
In Spain, Renfe provides significant fare discounts for large families: 20% for general category families and 50% for special category families. These discounts are applicable on AVE and Larga Distancia trains but do not extend to AVE International, Avant, or Cercanías routes. All services provided with discounted tickets are the same as those with full-price tickets, and the same rules apply for changes and refunds.
Renfe Disabled People Fare
For disabled passengers, Renfe offers up to 40% off. By spending €6 on a Tarjeta Dorada, you can travel on AVE, Avant, and Cercanías trains for a year. The discount on Avant trains is higher on weekends. Refunds or changes to tickets depend on the ticket type and may incur a fee.
